With more than 30 years of electric power industry experience, Kris Zadlo is one of the co-founders of Grid United overseeing its commercial and technical initiatives. Previously, Kris was a Senior-Vice President at Invenergy, responsible for commercial analytics, government and regulatory affairs, strategy, transmission analysis, and establishing the company’s energy storage program. Kris also served as Vice President of Transmission for Calpine Corporation and held various management positions during his ten years at Commonwealth Edison Company of Chicago. During his career, he has been responsible for interconnecting over 15,000MW of utility scale energy projects.

Kris has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from Purdue University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.
